Sales of rural properties in Spain reached 16,324 transactions in March, representing a 4.3% increase compared to the same month in 2025, while in the Balearic Islands, 317 properties were sold, a 7% decrease, according to data published this Thursday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).

The INE's Property Rights Transfer Statistics (ETDP) show that in March, across the country, the total number of rural properties transferred and registered in property registries was 44,314, of which 934 are in the archipelago.
